i found a tutorial on how to make crochetable material from plastic bags, along with a pattern for a tote. this took a while to make

i must have used about 40 plastic grocery bags haha and taken about 8 hours

it's smaller than i thought it would be

but it seems sturdy

a trick to cutting them is grabbing 3 of them and forlding them over a bunch of times. tying them takes longer :s

hhmm... good idea, but i cut the bags in a spiral so i dont have to deal w/ knots lol

I used to do that when i started, but they're too thin like that IMO, plus the other way is faster to cut. the knots don't even really show
