Artisan Crafts / Dolls, Plushies & Custom Toys / Amigurumi

I made this doll for my mom, took me a few months to make. Started it in February and completed it in September.

Small stitches and big pieces take long, if you didn't know.

The hair took FOREVER. I don't think I'm ever doing hair in this style again, lol.

She was made from a modified Precious Moments pattern.

Aww, what a cutie! I can imagine this taking a long time with how big it is.

What kind of hair style did it use? I've been trying forever to find a good style to do hair in (I refuse to use felt, it doesn't look right) but I'm having trouble finding or coming up with one that wouldn't take forever.
